Hettie Lane

Hi, I'm Rachel & I live in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with my fab husband John, three awesome kids & our crazy rescue dog Ted. I love creating Hetties! I started painting peg dolls & bead dolls quite some time ago. A friend suggested that as I loved creating them so much, that I should sell them & so that was it, Hettie Lane was born and now I get to make little people almost every day! I sell them from The Craft Hutch in Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales, which is a shop selling everything handmade by 60 different artist, makers and designers. The shop is run mostly by my husband & works on a rent a space basis....I LOVE the ethos behind it. A platform for people to sell their amazing creations alongside other people from the area, it's a real treasure trove.
